Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Monfalcone (7-11) lost at home to second ranked Cremona (16-3) 90-80 on Saturday. Cremona shot 63.6 percent from the field. They also forced 23 Monfalcone turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Cremona especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for Marco Bona (189-89) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 4 assists. Forward Ferdinando Nasello (195-95, agency: SLN) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. The former international power forward Massimo Rezzano (205-82) came up with 27 points and 5 rebounds and center Devil Medizza (197-90) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Monfalcone in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Monfalcone's coach Matteo Pratico rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cremona have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place in B with 16-3 record having just one point less than leader Vigevano. Monfalcone lost third consecutive game.
