There was no surprise when 14th ranked Orzinuovi (1-16) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Milano Urania (6-10) 82-72 on Saturday. Milano Urania looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The former international point guard Stefano Bossi (190-94, agency: Players Group) stepped up and scored 17 points and 7 assists for the winners and power forward Paolo Paci (204-90) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Milano Urania players scored in double figures. American guard LaMarshall Corbett (190-88, college: Angelo St.) responded with 21 points and 4 assists and the former international power forward Andrea Renzi (206-89, agency: Players Group) scored 19 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Milano Urania moved-up to tenth place in A2. Loser Orzinuovi keeps the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Milano Urania will meet at home league's second-placed Pistoia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Orzinuovi will play against Cantu (#3) and hope to win that game.
