Everything went according to plan in S'Arenal where fifth ranked Caceres (12-10) beat 17th ranked Palma (4-16) 92-87 on Sunday. Caceres forced 19 Palma turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Devin Schmidt (193-1994, college: Delta St., agency: Duran International) who scored 26 points and 7 rebounds. Cameroonian forward Benoit Mbala (200-1995) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Caceres' coach Roberto Blanco allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Wesley Van Beck (191-1996, college: Houston) who recorded 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Pol Figueras (187-1998) added 16 points, 7 assists and 4 steals respectively.
