No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Dos Hermanas (8-7) crushed at home 9th ranked Cimbis (5-12) 81-59 on Sunday. The winners were led by power forward Juan Manuel Campos (199-98) who scored that evening 26 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Andres Llano (195-0) supported him with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Even 17 points by power forward Carlos Galan (201-2) did not help to save the game for Cimbis. Pedro Ortega (200-92) added 8 points for the guests. Cimbis' coach Cristobal Garcia gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Dos Hermanas have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position in Group D-B with 8-7 record. Newly promoted Cimbis keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost. Dos Hermanas will meet Torta del Casar (#8) in the next round. Cimbis will play against Real Betis 2 and hope to secure a win.
