Very expected game when 12th ranked Faenza (6-10) lost at home to first ranked Roseto (17-2) 84-79 on Sunday. Roseto looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Andrea Pastore (187-94) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 5 assists. The former international power forward Valerio Amoroso (204-80, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Forward Simone Aromando (200-97, agency: SLN) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Riccardo Ballabio (180-98) added 15 points and 6 assists respectively for Faenza in the defeat. Five Roseto and four Faenza players scored in double figures. Roseto maintains first place in B with 17-2 record. Loser Faenza dropped to the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Roseto will meet at home Cesena (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Faenza will play against Rieti Kienergia and hope to secure a win.
