Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Almozara and 9th ranked Maristes had identical 5-9 record. This time Almozara used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Badalona 77-67 on Sunday night. The winners were led by center Francisco Cobos (195-95) who scored that evening 13 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Alberto Pedros (192-99) supported him with 12 points and 6 assists. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by guard Joaquim Franch (187-93) did not help to save the game for Maristes. Guard Adria Rivas (187-96) added 10 points and 5 assists for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Almozara (6-9) moved-up to eighth place in Group C-2, which they share with Martorell.
