Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Rieti Real and 7th ranked Ozzano had identical 11-7 record. This time Rieti Real used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Ozzano dell Emilia 74-47 on Sunday night. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Federico Loschi (196-90) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Marco Contento (191-91) accounted for 20 points for the winning side. Four Rieti Real players scored in double figures. Naturalized Ukrainian center Dimitri Klyuchnyk (211-1) came up with 16 points and 8 rebounds and forward Matteo Folli (196-96) added 10 points respectively for Ozzano in the defeat. Ozzano's coach Giuliano Loperfido gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Rieti Real maintains fifth place in B with 12-7 record which they share with defeated Ozzano. Loser Ozzano dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Fiorenzuola. Rieti Real will meet Senigallia (#6) on the road in the next round. Ozzano will play against Civitanova and hope to secure a win.
