Very expected game when 16th ranked Borgomanero (3-16) lost on the road to fourth ranked Legnano K. (12-6) 78-67 on Sunday. Legnano K. made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Montenegrin Janko Cepic (203-99) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Giacomo Leardini (198-99, agency: SLN) accounted for 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Five Legnano K. players scored in double figures. Legnano K.'s coach Silvio Saini used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Igor Jovanovic (188-2) came up with 25 points and forward Alessandro Ferrari (200-3) added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Borgomanero in the defeat. Newly promoted Legnano K. maintains fourth place in B with 12-6 record. Borgomanero at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. Legnano K. will meet Oleggio (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Borgomanero will play against Pavia and hope to secure a win.
