The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked M.Ma'ale Adum.'s (8-12) home victory over 12th ranked H.Ramat Gan (5-12) 78-66 on Tuesday. Strangely H.Ramat Gan outrebounded M.Ma'ale Adum. 42-23 including a 26-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Keith Braxton (196-1997, college: SFU) scored 19 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Yanir Binyamin (188-2000, agency: BIG) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four M.Ma'ale Adum. players scored in double figures. M.Ma'ale Adum.'s coach Yair Gewirtz used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-1991, college: Akron) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: Slash Sports) scored 27 points and 9 rebounds. M.Ma'ale Adum. moved-up to tenth place, which they share with E.Ashkelon. H.Ramat Gan lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 12 games lost. M.Ma'ale Adum. will meet higher ranked M.Raanana (#9) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. H.Ramat Gan will play against Ramat Hash. and hope to secure a win.
