Everything went according to plan when third ranked Cantu (14-4) defeated 10th ranked Cd'Orlando (6-13) in Capo d'Orlando 104-93 on Wednesday. Cantu made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. American guard Zack Bryant (188-1997, college: Georgia South) notched 23 points and 4 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and swingman Lorenzo Bucarelli (198-1998) supported him with 20 points and 4 assists. Cantu's coach Marco Sodini allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward Nick King (201-1995, college: MTSU) did not help to save the game for Cd'Orlando. His fellow American import swingman Tevin Mack (198-1997, college: Clemson) added 21 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cantu maintains third position in A2 with 14-4 record behind leader Scafati. Loser Cd'Orlando dropped to the eleventh place with 13 games lost.
