We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked Plock (9-10) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Pol. Gdansk 2 (9-9) 81-68 on Wednesday. Guard Dominika Ullmann (170-2005) scored 25 points to lead the charge for the winners and guard Agnieszka Harynska (172-1991) chipped in 9 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Four Pol. Gdansk 2 players scored in double figures. Pol. Gdansk 2's coach Adam Muller used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Patrycja Kaczor (170-1994) with 19 points and 6 rebounds and guard Lucyna Kotonowicz (172-1986) scored 19 points. Pol. Gdansk 2 moved-up to seventh place in Group A. Loser Plock dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Pol. Gdansk 2 will meet higher ranked Sokolow P. (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Plock will play against GTK 2 in Gdynia and hope to secure a win.
