There was an upset in Madrid where higher ranked Zentro Basket 2 (9-13) was defeated by sixteenth ranked Estudiantes B (6-13) 63-54 on Wednesday. Estudiantes B forced 20 Zentro Basket 2 turnovers. The best player for the winners was power forward Hugo Lopez (209-2003) who scored 5 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Michael Drame (195-1999) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was David Ramirez who recorded 9 points and 5 rebounds and DR Congolese guard Gloire Goma (196) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Estudiantes B maintains sixteenth place with 6-13 record. Zentro Basket 2 lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with 13 games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
