Regular Season Round 25: Dziki Wwa - Slask 2 81-73

There was a small surprise in Warszawa where eleventh ranked Dziki (11-13) won against 8th ranked Slask (11-11) 81-73 on Wednesday. Guard Przemyslaw Kuzkow (185-1999, agency: Alti Sport) stepped up and scored 23 points for the winners and Rafal Komenda (200-1998, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Dziki's coach Krzysztof Szablowski used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side forward Maksymilian Zagorski (198-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and forward Jan Wojcik (204-1999, college: NW Florida St., agency: BeoBasket) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dziki have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place. Loser Slask keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Dziki will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Slask will play against Znicz (#15) and hope to secure a win.
