Rather expected game when 7th ranked Elbasani (2-8) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked Tirana (7-3) 91-38 on Friday. Tirana held Elbasani to an opponent 23.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Tirana forced 20 Elbasani turnovers and outrebounded them 55-38 including a 40-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Elbasani's players. The former international Mirela Lugaj (170-2001) fired a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds, 12 assists and 6 steals for the winners.
