Regular Season Round 19: Gimle BBK - Ammerud Bskt 74-98

The game between second ranked Gimle BBK (18-8) and eighth ranked Ammerud Bskt (9-14) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Gimle BBK was crushed by Ammerud Bskt in Bergen 98-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gimle BBK. American forward Jordan Session (203-1996, college: Georgia St.) fired a double-double by scoring 32 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners. His fellow American import point guard AJ Harris (175-1996, college: NM State) chipped in 26 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Ammerud Bskt's coach Marco Sanders felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Lars Espe (185-1998, college: Barry) produced 23 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international guard Eivind Lamo (200-1996) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Ammerud Bskt maintains eighth place with 9-14 record. Defending champion Gimle BBK keeps the second position with eight games lost. Ammerud Bskt are looking forward to face league's leader Froya Basket in Laksevag in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gimle BBK will play on the road against Tromso and is hoping to win this game.
