Regular Season Round 19: Tromso - Nidaros Jets 79-66

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Nidaros Jets (3-22) were defeated on the road by seventh ranked Tromso (12-13) 79-66 on Saturday. Tromso dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Nidaros Jets' 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Rasheed Worrell (203-1996, college: Lynn, agency: One Motive Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Johannes Lange (182-1998) helped adding 18 points and 6 assists. Worrell is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Tromso's coach Pal Berg used entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the losing side guard Max Svendsen (191-2002) responded with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and American power forward Chris Carter (205-1992, college: LIU Brooklyn) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tromso have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 12-13 record. Nidaros Jets at the other side keep the ninth position with 22 games lost. Tromso will meet at home league's second-placed Gimle BBK in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nidaros Jets will play against Kongsberg (#4) and hope to secure a win.
