Regular Season Round 19: Cantabria - Zamora 83-66

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Zamora's (10-9) road loss to fourth ranked Cantabria (12-4) in Torrelavega 66-83 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Equatorial Guinean forward Walter Cabral (200-1995) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Bosnian Mirza Bulic (207-1992) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five Cantabria players scored in double figures. American-Puerto Rican guard Bobby Harris (185-1991, college: AIC, agency: Duran International) came up with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Ismael Tamba (201-2001) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Zamora in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cantabria moved-up to third place in Silver. Loser Zamora dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. Cantabria will meet league's second-placed Burgos on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zamora will play against the league's leader Ourense (#1) and hope to secure a win.
