The game between Top Four teams took place in Kouvola. host Kouvottaret (12-8) lost to Peli-Karhut (18-2) 75-58. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-58. It was a great evening for American swingman Naomi Davenport (180, college: WVU) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Linda-Lotta Lehtoranta (178-1991, agency: LBM Management) helped adding 18 points and 7 assists. Four Peli-Karhut players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American-American Samoan power forward Sarah Toeaina (185-1996, college: Hawaii) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and Canadian forward Rashida Timbilla (185-1992, college: UMass) scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Peli-Karhut are looking forward to face Vimpelin Veto (#5) at home in the next round. Kouvottaret will play against Torpan Pojat and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
