Very important is a road loss of third ranked Zornotza (12-6) against seventh ranked Ponferrada (10-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Zornotza was crushed by Ponferrada in Ponferrada 98-63. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Joe Cremo (193-1996, college: Villanova) came up with 19 points and forward Iker Salazar (202-1993, agency: Promo Sport ID) added 4 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Zornotza in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ponferrada moved-up to fifth place in Silver. Loser Zornotza dropped to the fourth position with six games lost.
