No shocking result in a game when third ranked Monaco (14-7) defeated on the road 12th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (10-11) 82-66 on Saturday. Monaco outrebounded Gravelines-Dunkerque 38-26 including 18 on the offensive glass. American-Georgian forward Will Thomas (203-1986) stepped up and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Guinean-American forward Alpha Diallo (201-1997, college: Providence) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Monaco players scored in double figures. Monaco's coach Sasa Obradovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Romuald Morency (202-1995) with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Cameroonian forward Kenny Kadji (211-1988, college: Miami, FL, agency: Slash Sports) scored 14 points. Monaco maintains third place with 14-7 record having just three points less than leader Levallois. Gravelines-Dunkerque lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. Monaco will meet at home Chorale de Roanne (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Le Mans and hope to secure a win.
