Regular Season Round 21: Jaen - Estepona 86-77

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Jaen (6-10) beat at home 7th ranked Estepona (8-8) 86-77 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was point guard Ivan Casas (185-2003) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Javier Santabarbara (197-1995) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Argentinian-Italian Leandro Furlan (193-1993) who recorded 22 points and Jose Antonio Cazorla added 13 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jaen moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Almozara and Pinta Castell. Loser Estepona dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. They share it with Mataro Parc. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
