Regular Season Round 21: Prat - Lleida 72-82

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Lleida (14-5) won against on the road 16th ranked Prat (7-13) 82-72 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Venezuelan forward Michael Carrera (196-1993, college: S.Carolina, agency: Global Sports Basketball) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Bahamas center Shaquille Cleare (203-1993, college: Texas) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Dutch guard Yannick Kraag (203-2002) who recorded 15 points and forward Marc Blanch (195-1982) added 14 points respectively. Four Prat players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lleida have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 14-5 record having just three points less than leader Granada. Prat lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixteenth position with 13 games lost. Lleida will meet at home Castello (#7) in the next round. Prat will play against Melilla (#12) and hope to secure a win.
