Regular Season Round 24: Tarnovia - Notec Inowr. 90-89

The most exciting game of round 24 in the 2Liga took place in Tarnowo Podgorne. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 3rd ranked Notec Inowr. (17-4) to sixth ranked Tarnovia (13-9) 90-89 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Notec Inowr.. Tarnovia made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Canadian guard Lee Danderfer (180-1993, college: MacEwan) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Seweryn Sroczynski (195-1995) contributed with 29 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Mikolaj Grod (194-1989) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Aleksander Filipiak (185-1990) added 25 points, 8 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Notec Inowr.Four Notec Inowr. players scored in double figures. Tarnovia moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Ostrow Mazow. Notec Inowr. at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Tarnovia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Notec Inowr. will play on the road against KKS Basket in Poznan and is hoping to win this game.
