Treviso can celebrate finally their first win this season after 13 consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Bolzano AV (4-12) 78-76 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Treviso especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Guard Erika Degiovanni (163-1999) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Croatian Klaudia Perisa (180-1996) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Treviso players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Marta Pellegrini (178-2002) with 21 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Francesca Santarelli (175-1994) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Bolzano AV's coach Alessandro Pezzi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Treviso maintains thirteenth position in A2 with 1-13 record. Loser Bolzano AV keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. Treviso will meet at home higher ranked Alpo (#6) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Bolzano AV will play against Vicenza (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
