There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Monfalcone (9-11) beat on the road 8th ranked Bergamo (9-10) 86-81 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Massimo Rezzano (205-1982) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Marco Bacchin (185-1997) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Four Monfalcone players scored in double figures. Monfalcone's coach Matteo Pratico used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Guglielmo Sodero (191-1993) produced 21 points and 6 assists and Swiss guard Nicolo Isotta (184-2003) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Monfalcone maintains tenth position in B with 9-11 record. Bergamo lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Padova V..
