Regular Season Round 19: Froya Basket - Centrum 107-50

Leader Froya Basket delivered the twentieth victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked Centrum (2-22) 107-50 in Laksevag. Froya Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Centrum's 20. They outrebounded Centrum 47-22 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Froya Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Centrum's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American Wayne Stewart Jr (201, college: A&M-Commerce) who helped to win the game recording 32 points (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Cam Gregory (203-1995, college: Loyola, MD) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Froya Basket players scored in double figures. Coach Baard Stoller's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Giorgos Kotrotsios (-1999) answered with 15 points and point guard Bendik Aunan (185-1990) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Centrum. Froya Basket have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-5 record. Centrum lost sixteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 22 lost games. Froya Basket will play against Ammerud Bskt (#8) in Oslo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Centrum will play at home against Baerum Basket and hopes to get back on the winning track.
