Regular Season Round 18: Hogsbo 2 - Haga BG 79-85

Very expected game when 11th ranked Hogsbo 2 (2-13) lost to fifth ranked Haga BG (7-7) in Goteborg 79-85 on Sunday. Haga BG made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Rasmus Westerlund notched a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Jacob Burke (171-2002) supported him with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Even 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by Jakob Fajersson did not help to save the game for Hogsbo 2. Guard Lowe Samuelsson (183-2001) added 22 points. Hogsbo 2's coach Thomas Stansfield tested eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Haga BG have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 7-7 record. Hogsbo 2 lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 13 games lost. Haga BG will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hogsbo 2 will play against SBBK (#9) in Sodertalje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
