Important game to mention about took place in Lugo. Thirteenth ranked Ensino (6-13) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 15th ranked Clarinos (4-15) 75-74 on Sunday evening. They outrebounded Clarinos 37-24 including 30 on the defensive glass. Dutch guard Natalie Van Den Adel (185-1990, college: Colorado St.) nailed 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Portuguese Sofia Gomes (188-1990, college: Tallahassee) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Theresa Plaisance (196-1992, college: LSU) came up with 11 points and 7 rebounds and Hungarian Krisztina Raksanyi (183-1991) added 15 points respectively for Clarinos in the defeat. Four Clarinos players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ensino moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Leganes. Clarinos at the other side dropped to the bottom position with 15 games lost. Ensino will play against higher ranked IDK Eustotren (#6) in San Sebastian in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Clarinos will play at home against Araski (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
