Damligan top team - Lulea Basket (19-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Helsingborg (7-11) 100-47. Lulea Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Helsingborg's 28. Lulea Basket forced 25 Helsingborg turnovers and outrebounded them 47-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Helsingborg's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Brooke McCarty-Williams (163-1995, college: Texas) who scored 26 points and 7 assists. The former international forward Josefin Vesterberg (192-1993) chipped in 7 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Lulea Basket players scored in double figures. Guard Divora Alem (171-2001) produced 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and French guard Rachel Clet (161-2001) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lulea Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 19-1 record. Loser Helsingborg keeps the tenth place with 11 games lost.
