Very expected game when 16th ranked Tarnow (3-22) was defeated at home by fifth ranked MKS DG 2 (17-7) 84-80 on Wednesday. Point guard Wiktor Rajewicz (180-2000) fired 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Przemyslaw Paduch (201-2003) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Dawid Szewczyk (193-1985) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Pawel Zaczkiewicz (187-1999) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. MKS DG 2 maintains fifth place in Group C with 17-7 record. Newly promoted Tarnow keeps the sixteenth position with 22 games lost. MKS DG 2 will meet at home higher ranked Tarn.Gory (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tarnow will play against Rybnik (#11) and hope to secure a win.
