Regular Season Round 19: Brescia - Carugate 81-59
Date: February 23, 2022
No shocking result in a game when third ranked Brescia (13-4) crushed at home 9th ranked Carugate (8-9) 81-59 on Wednesday. They outrebounded Carugate 50-24 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for French Angelina Turmel (198-1996, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Carlotta Zanardi (178-2005) accounted for 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Swingman Sara Canova (177-1989, agency: SLN) came up with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Finnish center Helmi Tulonen (191-1998, college: Duquesne, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Carugate in the defeat.
