Regular Season Round 26: Slask 2 - Pruszkow 89-86

Sixteenth-ranked Znicz (6-17) was very close to win a game against ninth ranked Slask (12-12) in Wroclaw on Friday. Slask managed to secure only three-point victory 89-86. However their fans expected much easier game. Point guard Sebastian Bozenko (183-1998) notched 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Kacper Gordon (184-2002) supported him with 22 points and 4 assists. Even 31 points and 6 assists by guard Szymon Walczak (190-1997, college: ASU) did not help to save the game for Znicz. Forward Arkadiusz Adamczyk (196-1999) added 23 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Znicz's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Slask moved-up to seventh place, which they share with WKK Wroclaw and Lublin 2. Loser Znicz keeps the sixteenth position with 17 games lost. Slask's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Wroclaw WKK Wroclaw.
