Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Azkoitia (4-17) was edged at home by fifth ranked Zamarat (16-6) 74-73 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Gala Mestres (185-1994, college: Mount Royal) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Ijeoma Ajemba (185-1995, college: UNCG) who added 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Ajemba is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was guard Juana Molina-Prados (174-1991) with 18 points and 8 rebounds and U.S. Virgin Islands center Anisha George (188-1998, college: N.Texas) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Azkoitia's coach Andoni Lazkano tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Zamarat moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Granada.
