Regular Season Round 19: Vigarano - San Salvatore 69-48

Another interesting game for Vigarano (8-9) which hosted 5th ranked San Salvatore (9-8). Eighth ranked Vigarano crushed visitors 69-48. It was a great evening for guard Giulia Sorrentino (175-1998) who led her team to a victory scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Veronica Perini (175-1988) helped adding 16 points and 11 rebounds. Vigarano's coach Massimo Borghi felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard Silvia Ceccarelli (182-1996) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Mounia El Habbab (186-1994) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Vigarano moved-up to seventh place in A2. San Salvatore at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Vigarano will play against Matelica (#8) on the road in the next round. San Salvatore will play against Battipaglia and hopes to get back on the winning track.
