Everything went according to plan when second ranked Miedzychod (19-5) won against at home 11th ranked Trefl 2 (8-15) 86-70 on Saturday. Miedzychod dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Trefl 2's 30 and made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Miedzychod forced 20 Trefl 2 turnovers. Mariusz Malachowski (194-1985) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Jakub Nowak (186-1989) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Miedzychod players scored in double figures. Power forward Maciej Nagel (200-2005) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Milosz Toczek (182-2005) scored 8 points and 6 assists.
