No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked WKK Wroclaw (12-12) beat at home bottom-ranked Turow (3-20) 85-79 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. WKK Wroclaw made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Naturalized Canadian forward Nick Madray (206-1994, college: Wagner) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Tomasz Ochonko (183-1986, agency: BIG) supported him with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 21 points by power forward Mateusz Stawiak (203-1996) did not help to save the game for Turow. Point guard Adrian Kordalski (185-1995) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the guests. Five WKK Wroclaw and four Turow players scored in double figures. Turow's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. WKK Wroclaw moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Slask 2 and Lublin 2. Newly promoted Turow stay dead last with 20 lost games. WKK Wroclaw's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Wroclaw to the arena Slask.
