Regular Season Round 26: Polonia Bytom - Wisla Krakow 88-60

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Wisla Krakow (12-13) was outplayed on the road by first ranked Polonia Bytom (25-2) 88-60 on Saturday. Polonia Bytom made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Point guard Szymon Daszke (187-1998) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and Pawel Bogdanowicz (197-1987) chipped in 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Point guard Dominik Krakowiak (195-2000) responded with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Jakub Iskra (193-2001) scored 11 points. Five Polonia Bytom and four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. Wisla Krakow's coach Przemyslaw Bilinski gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Polonia Bytom have an impressive 19-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group C with 25-2 record. Wisla Krakow lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 13 games lost. Polonia Bytom will meet at home AZS PC (#12) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Wisla Krakow will play against Gliwice 2 and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the 1Liga just one year after relegation.
