Very expected game when 16th ranked Tarnow (3-23) was rolled over on the road by eleventh ranked Rybnik (8-18) 99-65 on Saturday. Rybnik forced 22 Tarnow turnovers and outrebounded them 48-27 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Point guard Kacper Wydra (180-2000) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Adam Andula (201-1987) chipped in 20 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Five Rybnik players scored in double figures. Coach Jakub Krakowczyk's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Dominik Niemczura (181-1989) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Dawid Szewczyk (193-1985) scored 16 points. Rybnik moved-up to tenth place in Group C, which they share with Iskra Cz. Tarnow lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixteenth position with 23 games lost. Rybnik will meet higher ranked Tarn.Gory (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Tarnow will play against Iskra Cz (#11) and hope to secure a win.
