Serie A1 top team - Schio (19-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked San Martino (10-10) in San Martino di L 80-64. Schio had a 33-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Belgian Kim Mestdagh (180-1990, college: Colorado St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and French center Sandrine Gruda (193-1987) accounted for 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Schio players scored in double figures. Point guard Ilaria Milazzo (172-1994) came up with 23 points and American forward Shae Kelley (185-1991, college: Minnesota) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for San Martino in the defeat. San Martino's coach Lorenzo Serventi tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the nineteenth consecutive win for Schio. They maintain first place with 19-0 record.
