The most important game in the last round took place in Njardvik between third ranked Njardvik (14-7) and fourth ranked Haukar (12-7) on Sunday night. Njardvik was crushed by Haukar at home 86-57. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Njardvik. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Haukar maintains fourth position with 12-7 record. Newly promoted Njardvik keeps the third place with seven games lost. Haukar are looking forward to face Keflavik (#5) at home in the next round. Njardvik will play against the league's leader Fjolnir in Reykjavik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
