Important game to mention about took place in Vigevano. Twelfth ranked Empoli (8-13) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging leader Vigevano (18-3) 65-63 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Vigevano. It was a good game for point guard Filippo Guerra (189-1997) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Matteo De Leone (198-1997) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Four Empoli players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Empoli. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Vigevano at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost.
