An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Haifa. Second ranked M.Haifa faced 3rd placed Rishon LZ. Host M.Haifa (15-5) defeated guests from Rishon Le-Zion (13-6) 72-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rishon LZ. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was Bernice Mosby (186-1984, college: Baylor, agency: Interperformances) who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Center Krystal Vaughn (185-1986, college: VCU) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Jennie Simms (183-1994, college: ODU) produced 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Kristi Bellock (186-1990, college: Texas A&M) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. M.Haifa keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Ashdod. Rishon LZ at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. M.Haifa is looking forward to face league's leader Ashdod in Ashdod in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
