Regular Season Round 27: Walbrzych - Dziki Wwa 84-69

Not a big story in a game in Walbrzych where 10th ranked Dziki (11-14) was defeated by third ranked Gornik (20-6) 84-69 on Wednesday. Gornik looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Piotr Niedzwiedzki (210-1993) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Kamil Zywert (185-1996) chipped in 7 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Gornik players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Bartosz Majewski (192-1997) who recorded 20 points and 7 assists and point guard Grzegorz Grochowski (180-1993) added 5 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Gornik have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Loser Dziki dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Gornik will meet at home Ksiezak (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Dziki will play against Kotwica (#3) in Kolobrzeg and hope to secure a win.
