Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked AZS PC (7-20) was outscored on the road by first ranked Polonia Bytom (25-2) 119-52 on Friday. Polonia Bytom dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to AZS PC's 32 and had 24 for 32 from the free-throw line, while AZS PC only scored five points from the stripe. Polonia Bytom forced 29 AZS PC turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by AZS PC's players. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Polonia Bytom have an impressive series of nineteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 25-2 record. AZS PC lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 20 games lost. They share it with Czeladz. Polonia Bytom will meet league's second-placed Mickiewicz in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. AZS PC will play against Przemysl (#8) and hope to secure a win.
