Regular Season Round 33: BC Lulea - Jamtland 93-80

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Lulea. Third ranked BC Lulea faced second-best KFUM Jamtland. Host BC Lulea (19-10) defeated guests from Ostersund (19-9) 93-80. BC Lulea made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game, while KFUM Jamtland only scored six points from the stripe. It was a good game for American guard DeRiante Jenkins (196-1996, college: VCU) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 5 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). His fellow American import swingman Tavarius Shine (198-1994, college: OK State) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American point guard CJ Wilson (180-1994, college: Young Harris) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists and the former international forward Pierre Hampton (201-1991) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for KFUM Jamtland. Five BC Lulea and four KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BC Lulea maintains third place with 19-10 record having six points less than leader Norrkoping. KFUM Jamtland lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with nine games lost. BC Lulea will play against league's leader Norrkoping Dolphins at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KFUM Jamtland will play against Koping Stars and hopes to get back on the winning track.
