Very predictable result when third ranked Alcobendas (18-5) rolled over at home bottom-ranked Maresme (1-21) 68-41 on Saturday. Alcobendas held Maresme to an opponent 23.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.5 percent accuracy of the winners. American guard Rachel Howard (178-1995, college: USF) nailed 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and Mozambican guard Clitan De Sousa (183-1996, college: OK State) accounted for 9 points and 11 rebounds. Alcobendas' coach Julian Sanchez felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
