Regular Season Round 23: Porrino - Chantada 60-65

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Chantada and 6th ranked Porrino had identical 14-8 record. But Porrino was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Chantada 65-60 on Saturday night. It was an exceptional evening for Andorra center Aaron Guzman (199-1998) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Andres Corral (182-1992) accounted for 11 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Manuel Varela (182-2001) came up with 15 points and 4 assists and power forward Javier Dominguez (199-1994) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Porrino in the defeat. Porrino's coach Jenaro Alonso rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Chantada. They maintain fifth place in Group A-B with 15-8 record.
