Regular Season Round 21: Monaco - Bourg 90-74

There was an upset when higher ranked Bourg (10-9) was defeated on the road by fifteenth ranked Monaco (6-14) 90-74 on Saturday. Monaco forced 21 Bourg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was Monaco center Jordan Ratton (203-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Monaco Vincent Vermillac (192-2001) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Arthur Bouba (204-2001) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) and swingman Corentin Falcoz (192-2002) added 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Monaco moved-up to fourteenth place. Loser Bourg keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Monaco will meet at home higher ranked Roanne (#11) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bourg will play against Paris BA and hope to secure a win.
