Regular Season Round 28: Tychy - Pruszkow 89-64
Date: March 5, 2022
Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Znicz (6-19) was outplayed on the road by fifth ranked Tychy (16-11) 89-64 on Saturday. Tychy outrebounded Znicz 40-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Radoslaw Trubacz (196-1994) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 4 assists and power forward Andrzej Krajewski (203-2000) who added 9 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Karol Debski (198-1984) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and guard Szymon Walczak (190-1997, college: ASU) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tychy maintains fifth position with 16-11 record. Znicz lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with 19 games lost. Tychy will meet Slask (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. Znicz will have a break next round.
