Regular Season Round 19: KFUM Black. - Jamtland 2 86-95

There was a small surprise in Vallingby where eleventh ranked Jamtland 2 (4-14) won against 9th ranked KFUM Blackeberg (8-11) 95-86 on Saturday. Jamtland 2 forced 30 KFUM Blackeberg turnovers. It was a great evening for Max Vall who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Forward John Palsson (190-1999) helped adding 21 points and 6 rebounds. Jamtland 2's coach Ingemar Nord used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side power forward Joacim Edlund (200-1993) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 9 assists and guard Fabian Illes (188-2001) scored 16 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Jamtland 2 maintains eleventh place with 4-14 record. Loser KFUM Blackeberg dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. Jamtland 2 will meet at home higher ranked Akersberga (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KFUM Blackeberg will play against RIG Lulea and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
